Applications are generally formed based on the principle of multi-layer architecture:

• presentation layer can be formed as a thin client - web standard browser interface or as a heavy client - java applications, applets, etc.
• application layer may consist of programs operating in the application server environment
• database layer is implemented using servers with standardized access via ODBC/JDBC, or you can also use native access means of a specific database server

Java

Java as a programming language and a particular platform Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) is now a widely recognized standard for the development of robust, component-based and distributed multi-tier enterprise applications.

We have experience in developing web applications for intranet and internet, server applications and client applications running on the end users' desktop. Not only do we build systems "from scratch", but we also build integration services between existing systems with different interfaces.

Thanks to the fact that we are not only focused on specific technological subcontractors, we can also adapt to customers' infrastructure requirements. Our applications use various application containers (Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, Oracle AS, etc.), run on common and less common operating systems (Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, AIX, HP/UX, etc.) and use the database servers from different producers (Informix, DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB/2, MySQL, Postgres, etc.).

The programming language C is the established standard for application development, which requires high performance of performance limited hardware, or close interaction with hardware.

D-PROG prefers using operating systems Linux and UNIX for application development.
